Orange

Hair in my face
Not mine, no matter, we're
Lost in embraces
Lost in the burgundy breeze

Falling into her smirk
No, falling past
Feet disembark
Falling facedown into leaves

Patience, wait for the laugh
She tries to not, but
Trying isn't enough
I choose she join me down here

Sun balanced on mountain
Softening strident souls
Moment forever sustains
No next, no last, only now.

'tis gripping in its simplicity, beautiful in its brevity, and just plain good.

Please, you give me too much credit. Your text consists of much better stuff than the likes of mine.

There's just something about your writing style that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. As if there were constantly a wry smirk on your face as you type, obviously excepting the more melancholy works. Not to make you feel guilty or anything, but I really wish you had more time to devote to this.

Makes me glad I met you ;D
